Consultant & Tech Lead (Cyber Threats & Ransomware)

Summary: The role of Tech Lead focuses on Cyber Threats and Ransomware Investigations within transport networks for a global technology organization. The successful candidate will leverage their expertise in cyber security, particularly in ransomware, to provide assurance and guidance to government agencies and transport operators. This position offers a long-term contract opportunity in a high-profile environment. Candidates with SC Clearance will be prioritized.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a recognised expert in cyber-attacks related to the transport sector (Air, Rail, Road and Maritime) to help provide overarching assurance
• Act as Technical Lead and work closely with Technical Assurer and Delivery Lead to support, enable and assure risks are appropriately managed and that maximum value is achieved
• Work with Government agencies to advise on processes to prepare and mitigate large scale threats to transport infrastructure
• Provide an in-depth understanding of recent ransomware attacks on transport operators, particularly where these were successful, and the lessons learnt by the organisation affected
• Provide insight into the contrasting approaches between the public and private sector and their perception and prioritisation of different cyberthreats

Key Skills:

• Expert in consulting within Cyber Security and Cyber attack

• Experience of working within Government (either directly or where Government has been a customer)

Our client, a global technology organisation, urgently require an experienced Tech Lead to undertake a project focusing on Cyber Threats and Ransomware Investigations across transport networks.

In order to be successful, you will have the following experience:

• Expert in consulting within Cyber Security and Cyber attack
• Experience within ransomware and the transport sector
• Experience of working within Government (either directly or where Government has been a customer)
• Able to obtain SC Clearance (candidates with SC will be prioritised)
