An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and dynamic Consultant Nurse to lead Systemic Anti-Cancer Therapy (SACT) nursing within our Cancer Services here at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust.

At this exciting time of growth and development we are looking for an experienced Advanced Nurse Practitioner with extensive current experience in systemic anticancer therapy (SACT) who will lead the development of Nurse Led outpatient chemotherapy services.

You will provide professional leadership for SACT nursing, lead innovation and service improvement, and contribute to shaping SACT services across the Trust.

We are looking for an advanced practitioner with strong leadership skills, a passion for improving patient outcomes, and a commitment to excellence in cancer care.

Exercising a high degree of professional autonomy, acting as an expert, demonstrating advanced knowledge and skill in the provision of patient management, the consultant nurse will spend a minimum of 50% of their time in direct clinical practice supporting patients and developing services for patients undergoing systemic anticancer therapies within the Multi-Disciplinary Team. The remaining time will be dedicated to research/ education, management, and service development. The post holder will line manage the SACT ANP and lead the development of SACT nursing in the Trust supporting alongside the Trust Lead SACT Nurse, Nurse Manager and Trust Lead Cancer Nurse.
