What you'll be doing
- Design and develop solutions using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate and REST APIs
- Build and support microservices-based applications
- Participate across analysis, design, implementation and commissioning
- Produce Low-Level Design (LLD) documentation
- Work with platform design teams on microservice architecture and design
- Assess technical impacts, risks, dependencies and assumptions
- Develop and integrate web services using REST and SOAP
Essential skills
- 5+ years' commercial Java development experience
- Strong Java/J2EE
- Spring Boot
- Microservices
- Hibernate
- REST APIs
Nice to have: Experience with some of the following would be beneficial:
- AWS/Cloud technologies
- Oracle, SQL or NoSQL databases
- Angular or React
- Jenkins and Git/Gerrit
- JBoss, Tomcat or Apache
- Jira and Confluence
