Job title: ConsultantGrade: Mid-Level Salary: 30k- 40k DOEDepartment: Consultancy Location: Corsham/HybridEnsure all your application information is up to date and in order before applying for this opportunity.Purpose and objectives of the roleRenewEV specialises in delivering low carbon and renewable energy solutions for a wide range of clients in the West of England and Wales. We work across three primary sectors; Community Energy, Landowner Representation and Consultancy. As an Sustainability Consultant, you'll work closely with clients across these sectors to help them measure and improve their sustainability performance.Main Duties And ResponsibilitiesThe main function of the role is to provide consultancy services relating to: Sustainability/Carbon Reductions Strategies Building performance and operational energy optimisation Sustainability certification & compliance Energy Modelling and Data Analysis Solar and Battery System Design Product researchIn the successful delivery of the above, the main tasks will include: Working as part of multidisciplinary teams Identify feasible solutions and present them to clients in the form of written reports/presentations Production of technical guidance and analysis to influence sustainability strategiesRequirementsExperienceWe welcome applications from Consultants who are excited to work within sustainability and renewable energy. The applicant will have solid experience working in an engineering/architectural consultancy or related field and will either be a member of or working towards a relevant professional membership.Its desirable the applicant will have experience with assessment methods such as BREEAM, WELL and embodied carbon calculations and analysis and have working knowledge of implementing sustainable design techniques within national and local regulations.Experience of using Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams.Desired experience of building physics, retrofit and using dynamic modelling (IES or similar).Experience of working with large scale community energy projects and Local Authorities is beneficial.QualificationsApplicants should hold a degree in either Engineering, Environmental Science or allied subjects.Driving licenceWorking PracticeWe offer a supportive and inclusive environment to enable achievement of high standards of work.
