Summary: The role of Consultant Building Inspector involves providing expert oversight and compliance assurance for building projects within a London Borough. Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing accurate working papers and complex financial reconciliations
- Supporting year-end closedown and statutory accounting for pensions
- Using technical knowledge and expertise in construction to contribute to building safety, compliance, and accessibility
- Holding a Level 3 Registration as a Building Inspector and being RICS Qualified
- Bringing over 5 years of experience in a senior role within building control, dealing with complex projects from inception to completion
- Having a detailed understanding of current issues and developments affecting Building Regulations, Building Safety, and local government in England
- Understanding relevant legislation including the Building Act 1984, Building Regulation 2010 (as amended), and others
