Job Overview The department of Immunology and allergy are seeking 2 x WTE to join their team This is an additional post to manage increased demand. The consultant will be responsible, with 4 colleagues, for the clinical care of immunodeficient patients, allergy patients, challenges, desensitisations and MDT meetings. The role will include close working with immunology colleagues and specialist nurses. There is a large day unit with regular admission for both immunodeficiency treatment and Allergy challenges and care. There is also the ability to admit patients when required. The post holder would also manage a separate, but linked service in region or equivalent This is an exciting time to come to immunology at NBT. We are looking to enhance the service regionally and hope to have in place an enhanced management contract for the outreach clinics, thus bringing the standards of care to all parts of the region.
