Summary: The Construction Project Manager will oversee the daily delivery of construction projects, managing design teams and ensuring compliance with building contracts. This role involves developing project documentation, maintaining client relationships, and engaging in business development. The position is temporary for 10 months and requires a strong background in project management for commercial buildings. The ideal candidate will possess relevant qualifications and demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the day-to-day delivery of projects for funds, developers, and occupiers.
  • Select, appoint, and manage design teams for design solutions and planning applications.
  • Administer complex building contracts and ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
  • Assist in compiling tender documents and negotiating contracts.
  • Develop project documentation, including fee schedules, programmes, and risk schedules.
  • Produce comprehensive client reports at all project stages.
  • Manage and nurture client relationships throughout the project cycle.
  • Interpret contracts and implement change management, resolving disputes.
  • Engage in business development leveraging existing client relationships.

Key Skills:

  • MRICS or a similarly related Project Management qualification.
  • Strong background in delivering project management for new build commercial buildings.
  • Experience managing projects ranging from £2m to £50m.
  • Proven track record in delivering high-quality project management services.
  • Excellent verbal, numerical, and report/proposal writing skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Project, and Outlook.
  • Outstanding communication skills and well-presented.

Salary (Rate): 70,000
