Summary: The role of Construction Project Manager involves part-time work (2 days per week) for a public body in Belfast, focusing on the management of a large extension project. Your new company
The services of Hays have been retained by our client, a large public body based in Belfast, to recruit a Construction Project Manager on an ongoing temporary contract basis. Initially, an individual is required 2 days per week for a period of c. 8 months.
Your new role
You will join the Estates Capital Projects team which has responsibility for providing project management expertise to ensure the successful delivery of major projects. At this time, support is required with respect to the delivery of a large extension project. You will be required 2 days per week to liaise with relevant stakeholders and lead out on the development of the project brief.
What you'll need to succeed
To be considered for this position, you should possess:
A relevant (construction based) university degree.
Membership of a relevant professional body (eg APM, RICS, CEng, RIBA).
Relevant experience in an estates/building project environment, including:
Experience of successfully project managing major new-build or significant refurbishment capital projects.
Experience of leading multidisciplinary teams in achieving successful project delivery.
Evidence of successfully managing multiple stakeholders in a capital project environment.
Evidence of successful management of project budgets and resources.
Evidence of successful brief development, engaging with multiple end-users.
