Construction Lead (Structure)

Summary: The Construction Lead (Structure) is responsible for overseeing the planning, preparation, and execution of structural fabrication requirements, ensuring alignment with engineering drawings and project standards. This role involves managing stakeholder interfaces and resolving issues throughout the fabrication process, particularly within the Oil & Gas industry. The position requires significant experience in project execution and leadership within EPC environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical knowledge of fabrication processes and relevant industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee planning, preparation, and execution of structural fabrication requirements from yard activities to load-out.
• Ensure constructability of designs aligns with engineering drawings, industry standards, and project requirements.
• Manage interfaces between stakeholders and contractors for effective issue resolution during fabrication execution.

Key Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years’ experience in project execution within the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven experience in structural fabrication within EPC environments.
• At least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership capacity.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes including welding, lifting, mechanical testing, and completion.
• Experience working with major operators, EPC contractors, or fabrication yards.
• Familiarity with international design codes, standards, and safety practices.
• Experience with offshore and/or onshore facilities fabrication and installation.
• Understanding of execution risks associated with gas/LNG facilities.
• Experience in large-scale project organizations (Projects, Operations, Engineering).
