The Role
- Lead all engineering activities, providing technical leadership as part of the Project Leadership Team.
- Act as the technical authority, ensuring designs are safe, compliant, buildable, and aligned with contractual, commercial, and programme objectives.
- Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams and subcontract design partners to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
- Manage engineering delivery in line with UK gas regulations, industry standards, and client specifications.
- Provide engineering support throughout construction, managing technical issues, design changes, and commissioning to ensure successful project delivery.
- Build strong relationships with clients, contractors, regulators, and key stakeholders to ensure effective project delivery.
Required Experience
- Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or Senior Project Engineer delivering major EPC or capital engineering projects.
- Degree qualified in an engineering discipline, with Chartered Engineer status (or equivalent experience) preferred.
- Experience in UK high-pressure gas infrastructure or other regulated, safety-critical industries such as energy, process, or heavy engineering.
- Strong technical knowledge of multidisciplinary engineering, design, construction, and contractor management.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with project teams, clients, and stakeholders.
- Comfortable working across both design office and site environments to resolve technical challenges and support project delivery.
