Summary: The role of Programme Manager for 'Connect to Work' involves leading the contract and performance management for a new employment initiative aimed at improving employability for disabled residents in Greater London. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the contract and performance management for the Prime Contractor delivering the Connect to Work programme.
- Support the Government's Get Britain Working plans by helping people find and keep work.
- Tackle economic inactivity by aligning employment, training, and health activities for a holistic approach.
- Establish and maintain strong partnerships with stakeholders from the voluntary and health sectors.
Key Skills:
- Extensive experience working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Understanding of Individual Placement support and/or Supported Employment Quality Framework (SEQF) and Fidelity Quality Assurance models.
- Experience in successful contract management with a focus on performance management.
- Experience in local authority environments.

My Local Authority client in Greater London is looking to appoint a talented Programme Manager for 'Connect to Work' on a Contract basis.
This part-time role (2-3 days per week) will support the Council's Connect to Work initiative, aiming to deliver improved employability for disabled residents.
About the role:
Based in Greater London (Hybrid):
- You will be responsible for leading the contract and performance management for the Prime Contractor delivering the Connect to Work programme.
- Connect to Work is a new employment programme forming a key strand of the Governments Get Britain Working plans, supporting people to find and keep work
- With a focus on tackling economic inactivity and aligning employment, training and health activity together to provide a holistic approach
- Establish and maintaining strong partnerships with a wide range of stakeholders from the voluntary and health sector aligning programme to local objectives.
About you:
You will have the following experiences:
- Extensive experience of working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- An understanding of Individual Placement support and/or Supported Employment Quality Framework (SEQF) and the Fidelity Quality Assurance models
- Experience of successful contract management with demonstrative ability to maintain a quality service through performance management
- Experience in local authority environments
