Summary: The Conference Producer role at Climate Group focuses on developing and delivering impactful event content for Climate Week NYC, a major climate event. The position requires collaboration with sponsors and internal teams to ensure the successful execution of sessions that align with the organization's mission to drive climate action. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for climate and sustainability. This is a full-time, 6-month fixed-term contract based in London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of the overall curation of sponsored event content across the Hub Live at Climate Week NYC.
- Build and lead a strong project management plan for each sponsored session and maintain session tracking processes.
- Offer content best practices and suggestions for edits on submitted content to ensure agenda alignment.
- Lead and contribute to weekly calls with sponsors to monitor progress and provide updates.
- Prepare and deliver all briefing materials and panel calls for sponsored roundtables.
- Work directly with sponsors to meet deadlines and ensure timely event delivery.
- Complete internal run-of-show documents for sponsor content and provide timely updates.
- Support the sponsorship team in achieving revenue targets and identifying prospective sponsors.
- Ensure all EDI speaker objectives are met and exceeded where possible.
- Meet with sponsors onsite and support session delivery.

- Proven conference production experience.
- Experience in stakeholder management with the ability to influence effectively.
- High appreciation of commercial and financial drivers for businesses and NGOs.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Deep knowledge and understanding of climate issues and corporate sustainability.

- Engaging team player with strategic planning abilities.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (desirable).
- Experience working for an NGO or charity (desirable).
