Chassis / Suspension Engineer (12-Month Contract)

Location: Gothenburg, Sweden

Start Date: January

We are seeking an experienced Chassis / Suspension Engineer to join a established Chassis & Vehicle Dynamics team on a 12-month contract. This is an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge automotive projects and contribute to the development of future vehicle platforms.

Description of the assignment

• Support the Chassis & Vehicle Dynamics team in studying current and future platform concepts
• Work closely with the Chassis & Vehicle Dynamics team and attribute teams to align suspension system performance
• Represent the suspension and chassis systems in the packaging and project meetings
• Create and update concept and platform parts in CAD with consideration for industrialization
• Build and analyse kinematic models for package studies
• Organize and maintain data in TeamCenter
• Perform Kinematics & Compliance (K&C) analysis on suspension layouts

Qualifications and skills required for the role:

• Minimum B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3-year experience from Chassis System Development.
• A strong understanding of technical development of chassis systems and concepts.
• To be able to balance attribute requirements (mainly NVH, Vehicle Dynamics, Durability, Corrosion and Brakes).
• Experience of multiple suspension systems layouts
