Are you an engaging, knowledgeable, and proactive IT Teacher seeking an opportunity to boost pupils understanding of programming, coding, and tech skills? If yes, Tradewind Recruitment have the perfect opportunity for you!

We are collaborating with a school located in Scunthorpe that need an excellent teacher to work from September 2026 until December 2026. However, this position has the potential to last much longer for the right candidate!

The duties and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Planning, preparing, and delivering inspiring lessons to pupils in KS3 - KS5.
  • Working on collaborative projects that boost pupils' knowledge on Computer Science.
  • Creating an environment that encourages students to reach their potential.
  • Upholding high expectations and behavioural policies.
  • Follow Safeguarding policies.
  • Collaborate with the IT/CS department.

During your placement, Tradewind will support you in all kinds of ways, including access to CPD training through the National College, a dedicated consultant, and competitive pay.

The position does include planning and marking, therefore there is potential to be paid to scale M1 - £168.80 - M6 232.56.
