Summary: The Compliance Manager role is a full-time contract position focused on ensuring regulatory excellence within the insurance industry. The successful candidate will lead the compliance function, manage risks, and enhance the compliance culture while working closely with senior management. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the compliance function, ensuring adherence to FCA, EIOPA, and internal regulatory standards.
• Develop and implement compliance monitoring plans, conduct audits, and oversee regulatory reporting.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior management regarding regulatory changes and requirements.
• Continuously refine policies and procedures to enhance internal controls and mitigate risks.
• Manage and develop the Compliance team to provide high-quality regulatory advice.
• Oversee FCA regulatory submissions and provide insights on compliance trends.
• Monitor compliance performance of Brokers, key suppliers, and service providers.
• Promote a proactive approach to Consumer Duty, Treating Customers Fairly, and SM&CR.

Key Skills:

• 5+ years’ experience in compliance roles within insurance or financial services, with 2+ years in a leadership position.
• Deep understanding of FCA Handbook requirements, particularly Consumer Duty, TCF, ICOBS, and SM&CR.
• Experience in compliance monitoring, risk management, and regulatory reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to engage and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and regulators.
• Practical experience with FCA RMAR returns and applications.
• A strong sense of integrity, leadership, and attention to detail.
