Summary: Legal.io is seeking an experienced Sanctions/Trade Compliance Analyst for a full-time contract role with a leading CRM/software development company. The position involves assisting with sanctions compliance through restricted party screening and conducting due diligence using the Kharon platform. The initial contract term is for six months, with a workload of 40 hours per week. Candidates should ideally be located in the GMT time zone or be able to work overlapping hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with restricted party screening as part of the sanctions compliance program.
- Review approximately 100 sanctions screening cases per day.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures for reviewing customer information against potential matches on sanctioned & denied party lists.
- Clear and escalate hits as necessary.
- Work between different screening tools (automated and manual).
- Conduct due diligence in Kharon and publicly available sources to research global trade risks.
Key Skills:
- Prior experience with Kharon preferred, though similar tool experience is acceptable.
- Ability to work M-F, 8 hours per day.
- Preference for candidates in the GMT time zone, or those who can work overlapping GMT hours.

Legal.io is working with a leading CRM/software development company that is seeking to engage an experience Sanctions/Trade Compliance Analyst on a full-time (40 hours per week) contract basis, for an initial 6 month term. (Health, Dental, Vision, and 401k available).

Responsibilities:
- Assist with restricted party screening as part of the sanctions compliance program
- review screening cases, and clear or escalate hits per the Standard Operating Procedure
- Reviewing approximately 100 sanctions screening cases per day
- Following an SOP for reviewing customer information against potential matches on sanctioned & denied party lists, clearing and escalating hits
- Work between different screening tools (i.e., automated, manual)
- Conduct due diligence in Kharon (risk analytics platform), publicly available sources, etc. to research global trade risks, such as possible sanctioned party or embargoed jurisdiction ties
Requirements and Preferences:
- Technology: prior experience with Kharon preferred, though not required if the candidate has experience using similar tools
- Schedule: M-F, 8 hours per day; Preference is someone in the GMT time zone, though not required if the individual can work a schedule overlapping GMT hours
