Compliance Analyst
12-month contract
London – hybrid, 2–3 days per week
£250–£300 per day, Inside IR35
We are recruiting a Compliance Analyst to join the internal Risk & Compliance function of a large international professional-services organisation.
Please Note: This is NOT a banking AML/KYC, CDD/EDD, transaction-monitoring, remediation or financial-crime investigations role. Please do not apply if your background in compliance is not broad, and has been purely working in financials.
We are looking to recruit an individual with broad internal corporate compliance experience, covering areas such as anti-bribery and corruption, sanctions, ethics, conflicts, employee/new-hire compliance, policies, investigations and internal compliance queries.
Candidates whose experience is predominantly AML/KYC or financial crime without broader corporate compliance exposure will not be suitable.
The role:
- Support day-to-day internal compliance and ethics matters.
- Support compliance relating to employees, new hires, contractors and senior appointments.
- Review conflicts, declarations, outside interests, gifts and hospitality.
- Respond to internal compliance queries and support investigations and monitoring.
- Maintain trackers, registers and records and ensure actions are followed through.
- Support policies, procedures, training and compliance communications.
What we are looking for a Compliance Analyst with the following:
- Typically 3–5 years plus’ relevant internal compliance experience.
- Experience with employee/new-hire compliance, conflicts, declarations, gifts and hospitality, policies or investigations.
- Comfortable with detailed administration, trackers, records and follow-up actions.
- Professional-services, consulting, legal, Pharma, or accountancy experience is highly desirable.
- Candidates from other sectors should have worked within a large, complex international or matrixed organisation.
- Strong stakeholder communication skills.
