Completion and Close Out Work Package Manager

Summary: The Completion and Close Out Work Package Manager is responsible for ensuring the practical completion sign-off of equipment at Heartlands Hospital, Birmingham, in accordance with project specifications. This role involves managing the close-out process, including documentation and handover to the Centrica Operations and Maintenance team. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure all systems are functional and financial gains are recorded. The role is mechanically biased and focuses on project management within renewable asset construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gain practical completion sign-off from the Trust and CEF against PO criteria and specifications.
• Oversee the close-out and handover of equipment to achieve Trust and CEF sign-off for practical completion.
• Gather and capture all commissioning and sign-off documentation for handover.
• Create and close out final equipment checks, snagging, and sign-offs as per drawings.
• Record and plan early saving financial business gains.
• Liaise and organise sub-contractors for the completion of works, monitoring and inspecting completion.
• Collaborate with M E Manager, Document Control, Principal Engineer, and Site Staff to ensure systems are functional.
• Arrange handover of equipment to Centrica O M team.
