Summary: The Completion and Close Out Work Package Manager is responsible for ensuring the practical completion sign-off of equipment at Heartlands Hospital, Birmingham, in accordance with project specifications. This role involves managing the closeout process, including documentation and handover to the Centrica O+M team, while liaising with various stakeholders and subcontractors. The position requires a mechanically biased project management approach to achieve early financial savings and ensure systems functionality. The contract duration is between 3 to 6 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gain practical completion sign-off from the Trust and CEF against PO criteria and specifications.
- Manage the closeout and handover of equipment, ensuring all documentation is captured for sign-off.
- Create and close out final equipment checks, snagging, and sign-offs according to drawings.
- Record and plan early saving financial business gains.
- Liaise and organize subcontractors for the completion of works, monitoring and inspecting progress.
- Collaborate with M+E Manager, Document Control, Principal Engineer, and Site Staff to ensure systems are functional.
Key Skills:
- Experience in project management within the construction or engineering sector.
