Company Accountant required for a well-established SME manufacturing business based in Birmingham

Your new company
A well-established manufacturing business based in Birmingham are currently looking for a qualified accountant to join them as Company Accountant/Finance Manager. We are ideally looking for candidates that can consider this role on a temp-to-perm basis and this is a site-based role requiring 5 days a week on-site in Birmingham.
Your new role
Reporting to the Managing Director, we are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Company Accountant. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations, managing a team of four direct reports, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices. You will also manage the external audit process.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be available to start at short notice, and will be fully qualified with experience of leading the accounting and consolidations for a similar-sized (£20m) company.
