Health Data Avatar (HDA) is the first AI-powered, privacy-first platform that helps patients and carers gather, search, structure and make use of their health data across formats, systems, languages, and borders for patient-owned actionable data with no jurisdiction lock-in. We believe in data ownership , patient agency , and a future where health records should not vanish at border crossings, app changes, or clinical silos. We’re not just another healthtech startup, we’re longtime activists with an international experience, clinical background and a plan, building the infrastructure for a user-first, multilingual, decentralised (yet centralised) approach to health data. We’ve already built trust with early users, clinicians, and fellow healthtech founders. Now that HDA is through its third update in closed alpha, it’s time to bring in one of the key team members who can build and lead our community with heart, voice, and a shared vision.

  • Understands how to build something with the community, learn from them and give what they need, not just post at them
  • Has a good eye, a curious mind, and believes that transparency and humanity beat hype and empty yet powerful promises
  • Is not afraid to work at an early stage and loves being multifunctional
  • Is proactive, self-starting, and not afraid to ask questions, initiate tasks, or suggest better ways of doing things
  • Brings energy and gets even more from seeing the impact of their work on real people’s lives

You'll be the voice that keeps our community updated, engaged and inspired. You’ll work closely with the founder (that’s me) and the founding team to shape how HDA shows up in the world.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Co-create and implement our community and social media strategy across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, blog posts and very likely a KickStarter campaign as another visibility strategy and engagement building as well as source of early revenue to get to the point of charging for a valuable product)
  • Translate product progress, user updates, and mission-driven content into clear, engaging formats
  • Build relationships with early users, supporters, follow up with clinicians, and healthtech allies, driving a closed community for  the most engaged early adopters with possible meetups, peer support etc.
  • Drive feedback loops, share community insights with the team, and help shape our roadmap with real-world voices
  • Own execution: posts, DMs, updates, light design (Canva-level is fine, you're gonna be directed by our designer), light video
  • Help refine our tone of voice and community rituals
