Summary: The role of Community Psychiatric Nurse Band 6 involves providing essential support to children and young people with complex mental health needs within a CAMHS service in Lancashire. The position requires conducting assessments, creating care plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of young people.
- Create and deliver tailored care plans in collaboration with families and carers.
- Provide evidence-based interventions such as CBT and crisis support.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams including schools and social services.
- Maintain up-to-date clinical records and risk assessments.
Key Skills:
- Current and valid NMC registration and pin.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a CAMHS or mental health setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

What You'll Be Doing:
Join our team as a Community Psychiatric Nurse within a CAMHS service and play a key role in supporting children and young people with complex mental health needs. In this role, you will:

Requirements & Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- a current and valid NMC registration and pin

Working Hours & Contract Duration:
This role offers a flexible working position and requires availability from Monday to Friday, with flexibility where possible. The contract is for 3 months with a strong possibility of extension based on performance and service needs. This opportunity won't last long!
