Summary: The Community Engagement Officer will be responsible for managing and executing stakeholder engagement processes for public realm projects, ensuring effective communication and relationship-building with diverse stakeholders. This role requires a proactive approach to develop and implement communication strategies while overseeing stakeholder management plans. The officer will also engage directly with stakeholders on-site once projects are operational, adapting to the project's evolving needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a robust communications strategy for public realm projects.
  • Oversee the development and progression of a comprehensive Stakeholder Management Plan.
  • Hold weekly coordination meetings with the Borough Communications team.
  • Engage with stakeholders using various channels to ensure clarity and consistency.

  • Work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet project timelines and objectives.
