Summary: This role is for an experienced Communications Officer to join the Change team at a prominent London University during a period of significant growth and transformation. The position requires expertise in Higher Education and focuses on developing effective communication strategies to support change initiatives. The successful candidate will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure clear and consistent messaging across multiple channels. On-site presence is preferred, with the role classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver clear, engaging communication plans to support business change and transformation programmes
- Translate complex change initiatives into simple, user-friendly messaging for a variety of stakeholders
- Work closely with programme leads, PMO, and senior stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging across all channels
- Create and manage communication materials, including emails, intranet content, briefings, presentations, and stakeholder updates
- Support stakeholder engagement by identifying impacted groups and tailoring communications accordingly
- Ensure alignment between communications, training, and wider change activities to drive adoption
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of communications, using feedback to continuously improve approach
