Summary: The Change Communications Specialist will play a crucial role in a prestigious higher education institution, focusing on effective communication strategies for a large ERP project. This position involves engaging with various departments to ensure clear messaging and adapting content to meet audience needs. The role requires innovative thinking and collaboration with the change team to enhance communication efforts throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement communication strategies to support the ERP project
  • Create storytelling content to articulate strategies, results, and goals for various forums, tailoring content to audience needs and simplifying complex information
  • Engage with multiple areas of the university to ensure clear and consistent messaging
  • Stay updated on programme stages and adjust the content strategy as needed. Share knowledge and best practices within teams and programme
  • Utilise a variety of communication methods to reach diverse audiences
  • Collaborate with the change team to identify communication needs and address them proactively
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communication efforts

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in change communications, preferably within a large organisational setting, with an emphasis on innovation and best-in-class practices
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to adapt communication styles to different audiences
  • A real out-the-box thinker, bold and able to challenge the ways things are normally done
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across various departments
  • Experience with ERP projects is a plus
