Key Responsibilities Of The Role
- Producing pro-active communications for our UK and international stakeholders and partners.
- Monitor, develop and maintain the Federation website, ensuring content is relevant, up-to-date and timely.
- Working closely with the communications and engagement manager and international partnerships coordinator to undertake international marketing activities and projects.
- Commissioning and taking photographs/video for promotional and marketing purposes, liaising with suppliers as required.
- Creating video and other multimedia content for use across all digital channels.
- Providing support and expertise to the CPD and international teams to ensure communications to their stakeholders are timely and of high quality.
- Taking a leading role in the monitoring of social media and the management enquiries, ensuing that these are delegated and responded to.
- Working with designers to produce creative digital and print assets to support the Federation’s communication and marketing goals.
- Supporting the development and delivery of the internal communications strategy including the conducting and analysing of staff surveys, ensuring the cascade of information to staff and updating intranet pages.
- Producing and presenting reports on communications performance and effectiveness for the head of communications and the wider organisation.
Your Experience And Skills Will Include
- A communications or marketing degree or relevant knowledge and experience within a marketing, communications, or stakeholder engagement environment.
- Knowledge and experience in using a range of communications and engagement tools
- Experience of using a CRM and bulk email service
- Experience of updating websites using a content management system
- Strong social media skills and experience in a professional setting
- Demonstrable copywriting skills for a range of communication channels in both print and digital
- Experience in writing communications plans, particularly in targeting specific audiences
- Able to work collaboratively and build relationships with colleagues to produce communication content
- Good organisational and planning skills
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (to include Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint as a minimum
