Summary: The Commissioning Test Team Leader will oversee on-site commissioning activities, ensuring compliance and accuracy in testing processes. This role requires active SC clearance and involves reviewing documentation and supervising team adherence to safety protocols. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with Siemens PLC and SCADA systems, along with a strong understanding of electrical installations and instrumentation. Additional experience in related areas such as network design and cyber security is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work to approved commissioning procedures and Safe Systems of Work
- Raise commissioning reservations and seek guidance from the commissioning manager or engineering support
- Ensure the final state of plant configuration is as expected or agreed with the commissioning manager
Key Skills:
- Hands-on experience with Siemens PLC and SCADA systems
- Good appreciation of control panels, electrical installation, and instrumentation solutions
- Experience in testing and on-site commissioning
- Excellent health and safety awareness, with SSSTS or SMSTS certification preferred
- A CSCS Card or Equivalent
- Experience in plant historians, network design and configuration, cyber security, functional safety, and industrial protocol knowledge (IEC 61850, DNP3, Modbus, OPC, etc.) is an added advantage

About The Role
