Commissioning Manager – Client Side (Commercial & High-End Residential)

Location: Central London

Contract: Outside IR35

We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to join a client-side team delivering a portfolio of prestigious commercial and high-end residential developments in Central London. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on complex, design-led projects where quality, performance, and attention to detail are paramount.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the full commissioning process from design review through to handover
• Act as the client’s representative, ensuring systems are delivered, tested, and operating to the highest standards
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and specialist subcontractors
• Review commissioning strategies, programmes, and technical submissions
• Oversee witnessing of testing, validation, and system performance
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and best practice
• Support project close-out, including documentation and training

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Commissioning Manager on client-side or consultancy-led projects
• Strong background in commercial and/or high-end residential developments
• Excellent knowledge of MEP systems and commissioning processes
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive programme delivery
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
