Summary: The Commissioning Maintenance Engineer role involves executing mechanical works in line with EfW commissioning requirements for a project in Leeds. Key Responsibilities:
- Execute mechanical works in line with EfW commissioning requirements, ensuring compliance with HSEQ, schedule, and contractual obligations
- Support plant start-up activities including fault finding, system checks, and equipment readiness
- Monitor plant performance and diagnose issues across boilers, rotating equipment, and auxiliary systems
- Work closely with commissioning and operations teams to resolve technical issues quickly and effectively
- Report deviations, risks, and performance issues to the Commissioning Manager
- Carry out mechanical tasks including pump overhauls, filter changes, lubrication, and system maintenance
- Maintain plant equipment in a clean, safe, and operational condition during commissioning
- Plan and execute maintenance activities including spares, consumables, and resource requirements
- Record all activities within CMMS / PAMELA systems, ensuring accurate documentation
- Support sampling and testing activities (e.g. water, oil, waste streams, IBA) as required
Key Skills:
- Experience in mechanical works related to EfW commissioning
- Knowledge of HSEQ compliance
- Ability to support plant start-up activities
- Proficient in fault finding and system checks
- Experience with monitoring plant performance and diagnosing issues
