Summary: The Site MEICA Engineer role involves supporting capital delivery projects for a leading water utility client in the South East. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring MEICA elements are installed, tested, and commissioned to required standards while working closely with the client team. This position requires strong technical expertise in MEICA installation and commissioning, along with effective communication skills. The role is site-based and requires eligibility to work in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support capital delivery projects on-site with a leading water utility client.
  • Ensure MEICA elements are installed, tested, and commissioned to required standards.
  • Report to the Senior Site MEICA/Commissioning Engineer.
  • Support quality assurance, witness testing, commissioning, defect resolution, and site training.

Key Skills:

  • HNC/Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • Strong MEICA installation & commissioning experience.
  • Familiarity with water utilities, PLCs, HMIs, VSDs.
  • Good IT, reporting, and communication skills.

Salary (Rate): £32.11 hourly

Site MEICA Engineer – Temporary Contract

Location: South East (Site-based, 5 days/week)

Rate: £32.11 per hour (inside IR35)

Duration: 18 months

We are seeking a Site MEICA Engineer to support capital delivery projects on-site with a leading water utility client. Seconded into the client team, you will ensure MEICA elements are installed, tested, and commissioned to required standards. Reporting to the Senior Site MEICA/Commissioning Engineer, you'll support quality assurance, witness testing, commissioning, defect resolution, and site training.

Requirements:

  • HNC/Degree in Engineering or equivalent
  • Strong MEICA installation & commissioning experience
  • Familiar with water utilities, PLCs, HMIs, VSDs
  • Good IT, reporting, and communication skills
  • Site-based role across South East Water's supply area
