Key experience required
- Experience commissioning diesel generators and critical power systems
- Data centre, power generation or industrial commissioning background
- Strong electrical knowledge across LV/HV systems and switchgear
- Experience with generator controls, synchronisation and load testing
- Ability to read electrical drawings and commissioning documentation
- Experience with SAT, functional testing and client handover
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently on site
Key responsibilities
- Carry out commissioning and testing of critical power systems
- Complete generator start-up, synchronisation and load testing
- Support SAT, functional testing and final handover activities
- Identify and resolve electrical and control system faults
- Work with clients, project teams and equipment suppliers
- Complete commissioning reports and test documentation
- Ensure works are delivered safely and to project requirements

- Critical power systems, standby generation and LV/HV infrastructure
- Diesel generator installation, testing and handover
- New-build and upgrade projects within live data centre environments
- Mission-critical power delivery for major operators
