Key Responsibilities
- Commissioning LV switchgear and switchboards
- Live and dead testing
- Functional testing and fault finding
- Insulation resistance testing
- Phase rotation testing
- Protection and interlock testing
- ATS/AMF and generator changeover testing
- PLC I/O and remote interface checks
- Metering and Modbus/RS485 communication verification
- Working safely in accordance with RAMS, Safe Isolation procedures and Permit to Work systems
Essential Experience
- LV switchgear/switchboard commissioning
- Live and dead testing
- Safe Isolation (LOTO)
- Electrical fault finding
- Protection testing
- Generator changeover systems (ATS/AMF)
- Ability to read electrical schematics and single-line diagrams
- Previous experience working in data centres or other critical environments
