Summary: The role of Process Commissioning Engineer involves overseeing the commissioning of wastewater infrastructure projects from design to handover. The engineer will work closely with various teams to ensure that new treatment assets are tested, validated, and operational. This position requires hands-on involvement at the site level and a strong understanding of wastewater processes and regulations. The role offers a contract with a potential duration of up to four years, emphasizing the importance of the projects within the water sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver commissioning plans for new wastewater assets
  • Support FAT and SAT testing with automation engineers
  • Test and validate new process equipment
  • Analyse process and wastewater data to confirm performance
  • Work with operations teams to safely integrate new assets into live sites
  • Provide training and handover documentation

Key Skills:

  • 5+ years' experience in wastewater operations, process or commissioning
  • Strong knowledge of UK wastewater processes and environmental regulations
  • Experience commissioning wastewater infrastructure or treatment assets
  • Familiarity with URS/FDS documentation and commissioning procedures
  • Strong communication and technical documentation skills

Salary (Rate): £55/hour

We're looking for a Process Commissioning Engineer to join a specialist team delivering wastewater infrastructure projects. You'll be involved from design through to commissioning and handover, ensuring new treatment assets are tested, validated and successfully brought into operation. This is a hands-on, site-based role working closely with operations, construction and automation teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver commissioning plans for new wastewater assets

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' experience in wastewater operations, process or commissioning.

  • Experience commissioning wastewater infrastructure or treatment assets
  • Familiarity with URS/FDS documentation and commissioning procedures
  • Strong communication and technical documentation skills

Desirables:

  • CSCS card holder
  • Experience working on multi-million pound projects
