Summary: The Commissioning Boiler Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all boiler commissioning activities on-site, ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. This role involves managing subcontractors, executing commissioning procedures, and maintaining communication with engineering and operations teams. The supervisor also participates in system walkdowns and troubleshooting during functional testing to ensure timely project completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise/Oversee and coordinate all boiler commissioning activities on site
  • Ensure all commissioning works are conducted safely and in line with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements
  • Oversee subcontractors and vendors involved in boiler commissioning
  • Execute and monitor pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures (e.g., flushing, chemical cleaning, dry out, steam blowing, emissions and combustion test, etc.)
  • Review and sign off on commissioning documentation and test records.
  • Coordinate with engineering, construction, and operations teams to resolve technical issues
  • Maintain detailed daily progress reports and communicate updates to the commissioning manager
  • Participate in system walkdowns, punch listing, and handover processes
  • Support troubleshooting and problem resolution during functional testing
  • Ensure systems are commissioned in line with project deadlines and operational readiness standards
  • Coordinate the boiler start-ups with the rest of the systems.
  • Review the logics and the functional tests with the boiler TFAs.
  • Review the boiler ash systems

Key Skills:

  • Experience in boiler commissioning and supervision
  • Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations
  • Ability to manage subcontractors and vendors
  • Proficient in executing commissioning procedures
