Summary: The Commercial/Subcontract Coordinator will be responsible for managing relationships with subcontractors, ensuring project alignment and effective communication. The role involves providing support to project management, conducting awareness sessions, and overseeing subcontract amendments. The ideal candidate will have a background in engineering, business administration, or legal, with experience in subcontracting within various construction-related fields.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate relationships with subcontractors, ensuring alignment with project requirements and establishing clear communication.
• Provide subcontract-related support and advisory services to project management and other functions.
• Conduct Subcontract Awareness sessions.
• Identify opportunities to optimise subcontractor utilisation within projects.
• Oversee the preparation, negotiation, and administration of subcontract amendments and variations (VO/VOR).
• Seek legal advice when necessary to ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

Key Skills:

• Bachelor Degree or Master in engineering, business administration or legal.
• At least 2 years experience with subcontracting for scaffolding, surface touch-up, insulation, architectural works on existing substations, prefabrication of structures, lifting services, weighing and load-out, and power supply is an advantage.
• Possess strong communication skills.
