The Role
You will advise on a broad range of commercial matters, working closely with businesses at every stage of their growth, from owner-managed businesses and SMEs to larger corporate organisations.
Your work will include: Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial agreements Advising on supply, distribution, agency and service contracts Providing commercial support on corporate transactions Assisting clients with business-to-business arrangements and risk management Advising on terms and conditions, trading arrangements and commercial policies Advising on and drafting technology agreements - SaaS, PaaS, Cloud Services and software/application development Supporting clients with data protection, data transfers and data compliance matters Building and maintaining strong client relationships through practical, commercially focused advice You will also play an active role in business development initiatives, networking activities and supporting the continued growth of the team.
About You
We are looking for a solicitor who: Has experience advising on commercial law, IT/Tech, and non-contentious intellectual property matters Demonstrates excellent technical drafting and negotiation skills Can confidently manage a varied workload and provide pragmatic commercial advice Has excellent client-facing and communication skills Enjoys building networks and contributing to business development activities Is commercially aware, proactive and solutions-focused Thrives in a collaborative team environment.
