Summary: The role of Commercial Project Manager involves overseeing contracts and project delivery within the Defence sector. Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Business Development and Bids team in the planning phases of new opportunities.
• Create work breakdown structures, project plans, and risk management strategies.
• Manage new and existing contracts, ensuring adherence to deadlines, budget, and contractual obligations.
• Deliver payment milestones within specified tolerances of time, cost, quality, and risk.
• Conduct regular contract reviews and provide detailed progress reports.
• Develop standardised documentation and reporting templates for use across projects and contracts.

Key Skills:

• 2+ years’ experience in Project Management within a technical sector.
• A Project Management qualification (Prince2, APM, etc.).
• A degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field.
• Experience in the Defence industry delivering technical solutions.
• Lean Six Sigma yellow or green belt (highly desirable).
• Engineering experience in civil or military aviation is a plus.
