We are working with a central government department to appoint an experienced Commercial/Procurement Business Partner to support a high-profile, first-of-its-kind national programme operating to a compressed delivery timeline.
This role suits a senior commercial professional with strong end-to-end procurement experience, able to operate confidently in complex, fast-paced public sector environments.
Key Contract Details
- Contract Length: 6 months (extension possible)
- Location: London
- On-site Requirement:
- Tuesdays on-site (core team day)
- 1-2 days per week on-site thereafter
- Security Clearance: Active SC preferred, however lapsed or eligible is fine
- Rate: Up to £750 per day (Inside IR35)
The Role
You will act as a senior commercial partner within a multi-disciplinary team (commercial, technical and delivery specialists), supporting the delivery of a major UK public sector programme with a target delivery date of December.
Responsibilities will include:
- Owning and shaping commercial strategy and procurement approach
- Leading end-to-end procurement activity across complex, high-value contracts
- Providing expert advice on public sector procurement regulation and commercial policy

Essential Experience
