Commercial Finance Manager (Maternity cover until August 2026)

Summary: The Commercial Finance Manager will oversee trade investment management and P&L ownership within the UK & Ireland finance team on a fixed-term basis. This role involves collaboration with marketing and operations leadership to enhance financial reporting, budgeting, and performance analysis. The position also includes leading key commercial finance projects and ensuring compliance with financial controls. The role is set to transition to maternity cover in September, requiring strong business partnering and financial management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage trade investment (TI) and P&L lines between revenue and operating profit.
• Ensure strong financial controls and compliance are maintained.
• Collaborate with the Head of UK Marketing and Head of UK Operations for decision support.
• Lead key commercial finance projects, including the transition to a new controls framework.
• Oversee period end delivery on TI, Logistics, and Marketing.
• Finance business partner with UK Supply Operations Lead and UK Marketing Lead.
• Track in-year performance, budgeting, and decision support.
• Ensure TI management processes are audit-ready and drive accountability.

Key Skills:

• Solid understanding of customer P&Ls and balance sheet management.
• Experience in business partnering and influencing non-finance functions.
• Ability to contribute to continuous improvement projects with measurable results.
• Strong understanding of financial controls and compliance.
• Proficient in Excel.
