Summary: The Commercial Finance Manager role based in South Manchester involves partnering with operational and commercial teams to drive financial performance and decision-making. The position requires ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, along with delivering insightful reporting and supporting pricing and contract evaluations. Key Responsibilities:
- Business partner with operational and commercial teams to influence financial decisions and performance.
- Own budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis across key revenue streams.
- Deliver insightful reporting on margin, sales, customer performance, and profitability.
- Support pricing, tendering and contract evaluation processes.
- Lead financial modelling for commercial opportunities, new business and scenario planning.
- Drive cost control initiatives and identify opportunities for efficiency.
- Present financial information clearly to senior stakeholders and non-finance audiences.
- Support month-end processes and ensure accurate commercial reporting.
Key Skills:
- (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.
- Strong commercial acumen and a track record of influencing performance.
- Proven experience in business partnering roles, ideally within FMCG, Retail, or multi-site environments.
- Confident working with large data sets, Excel, and reporting tools (Power BI desirable).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proactive, solutions-focused, and adaptable in a fast-moving environment.
