Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a senior finance partner to commercial and operational leadership teams.
- Provide insight and challenge across revenue, margin and cost drivers.
- Support planning, forecasting and scenario analysis to inform decision-making.
- Develop clear performance reporting and financial insight.
- Identify risks and opportunities, translating analysis into practical actions.
- Lead and develop a small senior finance team.
- Contribute to broader business improvement initiatives as the organisation stabilises and evolves.
Key Skills:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA).
- Senior commercial finance or FP&A leadership experience within large, complex organisations.
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced environments with incomplete information.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to influence at senior level.
- Pragmatic, commercially minded and delivery focused.
- Able to work on site in the North of England, on a hybrid basis.

HW Interim Solutions are working with a large consumer-led client, too appoint a Commercial Finance Director, as it moves into its next phase of operational and commercial development. This is offered on an interim basis, initially 6 months. Following a period of transformation the organisation is now focused on improving performance, strengthening decision-making and embedding clearer commercial insight. Reporting into senior finance leadership, this position plays a key role in supporting commercial performance and enabling effective decision making across a complex operating environment.
