Summary: The role of Interim Commercial Finance Analyst involves supporting financial planning and analysis within a purpose-led Consumer Goods company. The position requires strong Excel skills and experience in managing trade spend and pricing reconciliations. The analyst will also be responsible for month-end accruals and management reporting to facilitate decision-making. This role offers a hybrid working arrangement with flexibility in hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete pricing reconciliations across different systems and ensure accurate pricing ahead of forecasts and budgets
- Support the Deals team to help them understand and manage their customer trade spend in accordance with budget/forecast
- Management of month end accruals for all trade spend
- Production of Trade Spend dashboards
- Support invoice queries on Trade Spend and work closely with accounting on document clearing
- Maintain, update and take ownership for the pricing submission template
Key Skills:
- Excellent Excel skills, with comfort in managing large data sets
- Previous experience in a Consumer Goods or product-based business
- Month end experience in a financial analysis role with the ability to hit the ground running
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- A driven and results orientated Finance Analyst with a desire to achieve
