Commercial Finance Analyst

Summary: The Commercial Finance Analyst role is a full-time, office-based position in Bury, England, offered as a 6-9 month contract with a market-leading logistics company. The role involves producing commercial reports, assisting with budgeting and forecasting, and supporting strategic financial planning. Candidates should have relevant qualifications and experience in finance, particularly in budgeting and analysis, and be proficient in Excel. Key Responsibilities:

• Production and distribution of daily, weekly, and monthly commercial reporting
• Assist with the budget and reforecast process for all entities
• Provide financial input into strategic long-term planning
• Collate payroll and distribute weekly/monthly reports
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly bonus calculations
• Support in analysis and reporting
• Develop and maintain financial models, ensuring data is accurate, complete, and maintained regularly
• Management of timelines and submissions in line with Group Finance deadlines and agreed timelines with stakeholders
• Active involvement in design, development, and maintenance of new reports, identifying trends and issues
• Support the finance team with other ad-hoc analysis and reporting as and when required

Key Skills:

• ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified or Qualified by experience
• Experience in Budgeting/forecasting and commentary/analysis
• Proficient in Excel to v look up and pivot table level
• Ability to commute full time to Bury location
• Willingness to consider a 6-9 month contract initially
