Commercial Finance Analyst

Summary: The Commercial Finance Analyst role is a full-time, office-based position in Bury, England, offered as a 6-9 month contract with a market-leading logistics company. Key Responsibilities:

• Production and distribution of daily, weekly, and monthly commercial reporting
• Assist with the budget and reforecast process for all entities
• Provide financial input into strategic long-term planning
• Collate payroll and distribute weekly/monthly reports
• Assist with the preparation of quarterly bonus calculations
• Support in analysis and reporting
• Develop and maintain financial models, ensuring data is accurate, complete, and maintained regularly
• Management of timelines and submissions in line with Group Finance deadlines and agreed timelines with stakeholders
• Active involvement in design, development, and maintenance of new reports, identifying trends and issues
• Support the finance team with other ad-hoc analysis and reporting as and when required

Key Skills:

• ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified or Qualified by experience
• Experience in budgeting/forecasting and commentary/analysis
• Proficient in Excel to v-look up and pivot table level
• Ability to commute full-time to Bury location
• Willingness to consider a 6-9 month contract initially
