Summary: The Commercial Finance Analyst role is a full-time, office-based position in Bury, England, offered as a 6-9 month contract with a market-leading logistics company. The position involves key responsibilities such as financial reporting, budgeting, and analysis, supporting the finance team during a period of growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Production and distribution of daily, weekly and monthly commercial reporting
- Assist with the budget and reforecast process for all entities
- Provide financial input into strategic long term planning
- Collate payroll and distribute weekly/monthly reports
- Assist with the preparation of quarterly bonus calculations
- Support in analysis and reporting
- Develop and maintain financial models, ensuring data is accurate, complete and maintained regularly
- Management of timelines and submissions in line with Group Finance deadlines and agreed timelines with stakeholders
- Active involvement in design, development and maintenance of new reports, identifying trends and issues
- Support the finance team with other ad-hoc analysis and reporting as and when required
Key Skills:
- ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified or Qualified by experience
- Experience in Budgeting/forecasting and commentary/analysis
- Proficient in Excel (v look up and pivot table level)
- Ability to commute full time to Bury location
- Willingness to consider a 6-9 month contract initially
