Summary: This role as a Commercial Finance Analyst in a growing Media business in Central London involves managing full P&L period end close and providing financial analysis. The position offers excellent progression opportunities and hybrid working arrangements. The analyst will work closely with the Finance Director and liaise with key stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting. The role requires a qualified accountant with strong communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for full P&L period end close, analysis and overview as well as supporting the Finance Director
- Responsible for period end accounting close for smaller entity
- Variance analysis of actual results against forecast
- Commercial Accounting
- Valuation and appraisal of new acquisition opportunities
- Financial Planning, Reporting & Analysis
- Preparation of forecasts and 3 year rolling forecasts
- Liaising with Commercial and non-finance key stakeholders to ensure all relevant information is collected
- Periodic cash-flow forecasting
- Ad-hoc project work
Key Skills:
- Qualified accountant ACA, CIMA, ACCA or Finalist level
- Excellent communication skills.
