Summary: The role of Commercial Finance Analyst involves contributing to the financial strategy of a multi-site retailer in North Manchester for a temporary period of 6+ months. The position requires analytical expertise to support financial planning and decision-making across various departments. Candidates will produce financial reports, analyze data, and provide insights to enhance the company's financial health. Key Responsibilities:
- Produce and present month-end dashboards and period actuals and forecasts.
- Provide robust variance commentary based on financial variances, forecasting assumptions, and risks.
- Analyze financial data and provide insightful recommendations to support business objectives.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts for strategic planning.
- Identify and investigate financial trends, highlighting risks and opportunities.
- Collaborate with various departments to gather and interpret financial information.
- Provide financial support and guidance to ensure the company's financial health.
Key Skills:
- Available immediately or with a short notice period.
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Part Qualified/Qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in financial modelling, data analysis, and reporting tools.
- Collaborative approach and finance business partnering experience.
- Experience within FP&A or Commercial finance setting.
