Summary: The Commercial Administrator is responsible for executing commercial projects and tendering processes, ensuring timely delivery of enquiries and orders while maintaining customer satisfaction. This role involves managing project documentation, tracking deliverables, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure projects are completed within budget and schedule. The position requires effective communication and adaptability to meet the needs of the business while minimizing liabilities and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute commercial projects and tendering, ensuring on-time delivery of enquiries and orders.
  • Plan delivery based on requirements agreed during the tendering process.
  • Create and maintain key project documentation, including tenders and invoicing instructions.
  • Manage allocated projects to ensure completion on schedule and within budget.
  • Negotiate and accurately record customer project variations.
  • Track project deliverables and costs using appropriate tools.
  • Monitor and report on project progress and ensure timely payments are received.
  • Work with sales and customer service managers to assess customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain current and accurate records within the Company's Customer Relationship Management system.
  • Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations in the workplace.

Key Skills:

  • Proven track record in a similar role.
  • PRINCE2/APM (or equivalent) trained.
  • Good communication skills in all media and cross-culturally.
  • Customer-focused with an enquiring mind and willingness to adopt new approaches.
  • Numerate with the ability to plan and prioritize work.
  • Highly computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office and IT systems.
  • Commercially astute with experience in commercial business practices and contract conditions.
  • Experience in customer service.
