Summary: The role of Collateral Transformation Programme Manager involves leading the Collateral and Liquidity Services function within a multi-year clearing service transformation programme at a large UK-based banking exchange company in London. The position requires collaboration with the leadership team to modernize the CCP from a collateral and liquidity perspective, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices. The contractor will utilize a matrix management structure to coordinate efforts without needing to lead hands-on. The role is hybrid, allowing for flexibility between home and office work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the leadership team in ensuring the overall purpose of modernising the CCP is met from a Collateral and Liquidity perspective.
- Ensure that the future state Collateral and Liquidity function will meet industry standards and best practice amongst peers, whilst being prepared for future developments (eg digitalization).
Key Skills:
- Significant experience in relevant clearing/post-trade financial services roles (gained either at market infrastructure providers, member firms or consulting firms).
- Strong working knowledge of all aspects of CCP collateral and liquidity management, including knowledge of core CCP practices.
- Strong understanding of FMI operational resilience requirements.
- Detailed knowledge of regulations impacting design and operations of a clearing house (in particular UK/EU).
- Experience designing/implementing clearing systems (custom build or vendor solutions).
- Knowledge of market developments in the collateral space, eg digital assets.

Collateral Transformation Programme Manager (CCP collateral and liquidity management) required by large UK based Banking Exchange company, based in London (FLEX WORK FROM HOME AND OFFICE) to work within the Clearing Area.
- They currently have multi-year clearing service transformation programme (currently in Year 1) which requires a Program Manager to help lead the Collateral and Liquidity Services function (coordination and management).
- They are replacing their current clearing platform to modernise and standardise the new platform.
- Already hired a number of BA/PM's internally and this contractor will not need to hands-on lead, but use the Matrix management structure to get things done.
