Coach Builder

Summary: The Coach Builder role involves assembling various mechanical systems and components for vehicles at a well-established engineering company in Ballymena, County Antrim. Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the assembly of a variety of mechanical systems.
• Assembling materials such as metal, wood, laminate, and fibreglass components using nuts, bolts, and rivets.
• Safe operation of plant equipment and hand tools.
• Assembling products in line with assembly drawings.
• Participation in continuous improvement teams and initiatives.
• Compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
• Ensuring work meets company standards and quality sign-offs.
• Moving between operations while maintaining high-quality workmanship and efficiency.
• Prepared to work overtime when requested by management.
• Undertaking training or retraining associated with the role or new engineering changes.

Key Skills:

• Previous experience in vehicle building, interior re-fitting, or mechanical assembly.
• Minimum Level 2 Qualification in a relevant discipline.
